The Jay Rayner Quartet 10th Anniversary

The Jay Rayner Quartet 10th Anniversary

In February 2012 restaurant critic, Masterchef judge and sometime pianist Jay Rayner led his jazz quartet on to the stage at King’s Place for their first, and what he assumed would be their only gig. It didn’t quite work out like that. In the years that followed, their mixture of straight-ahead jazz, witty arrangements of terrific songs from across genres and often outrageous stories has seen the Jay Rayner Quartet become a much-loved fixture of the British live jazz scene. They’ve made regular appearances at famed jazz venues like Ronnie Scott’s and Pizza Express Dean Street, settled into a residency at the Crazy Coqs and have thrilled crowds at some of Britain’s biggest festivals. Now join them as they return to the stage at King’s Place to celebrate ten years of scorching music; for a night of old favourites, new tunes and a few very special guests.

It’s the Jay Rayner Quartet’s 10th birthday. Come and help them blow out the candles.
