What we do


Fane is one of the UK’s fastest growing and most dynamic production companies, working with inspiring voices from the world of literature, podcasts, screen and stage.

The company presided over sales of 450,000 tickets in their first two years alone through events with artists including John le Carr√©, Margaret Atwood, Nigella Lawson, Dolly Alderton, Michel Legrand, Sir Ranulph Fiennes and Grayson Perry. Fane’s Autumn 2019 season included tours and shows from the likes of Julie Andrews, Joanna Lumley, Sir Michael Morpurgo, Sir Michael Parkinson, Jojo Moyes, The High Low, Nadiya Hussain, The Receipts Podcast, Jay Rayner, Maria Friedman, Armistead Maupin and Adam Kay. The company has also collaborated with Margaret Atwood on the launch of her new book The Testaments, creating a live event at the National Theatre, London in September to mark the release which was screened to 1,500 cinemas around the world across five continents. Spring 2020 highlights include tours with Lady Glenconner, Roddy Doyle, Marian Keyes, Deliciously Ella and Stacey Dooley.

Fane produce shows for the biggest theatres on London’s West End, including programming most Sunday nights at the Theatre Royal Haymarket and the Bridge Theatre, as well as programming over 700 shows per year at central London venue, Crazy Coqs.

Fane have also created Words Weekend - a dynamic new festival series celebrating the power of words and stories. The first edition, hosted by iconic venue Sage Gateshead, featured an exceptional international line-up that championed diversity, accessibility and the rich culture of the North East. Words Weekend Salford runs from March 25-27 2020.

In late 2018 Fane acquired leading marketing agency JHI Ltd, who provide marketing, ticketing and digital expertise across all Fane events and for live theatre, both in the UK and internationally. Key clients include Mischief Theatre, Six and Mamma Mia.

On the back of rapid growth, Fane expanded into the United States and Australasia, opening an office in Sydney, Australia, featuring tours with the likes of Sir Michael Parkinson, Sir Ranulph Fiennes, Nigella Lawson, Grayson Perry, Margaret Atwood and Adam Kay.
