It will be a night you may never forget to celebrate Charlie’s highly anticipated new book, Always Remember: The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, the Horse and the Storm.
The evening will weave live drawing, storytelling, live music performed by Isobel Waller-Bridge and members of 97 Ensemble, and questions from the audience, with Charlie sharing the sparks that inspired him, the missteps and miracles along the way—from the quiet act of sketching alone at a kitchen table to the unpredictable journey of creating an Oscar-winning animated short film.
Expect warmth and humour, but also an honesty that catches you off guard. Expect tenderness. Expect imperfection, because that’s where the truth tends to live.
This is a celebration of joy and melancholy, of cake crumbs and the courage found in the smallest kindnesses. It’s about being human in all our untidy glory.
