Set in Derry, Northern Ireland in the 1990s, award-winning Channel 4 comedy Derry Girls is a candid, one-of-a-kind comedy about what it's like to be a teenage girl living amongst conflict.

Live in conversation with author, podcaster and self-confessed Derry Girls megafan Daisy Buchanan, Lisa and Saoirse will explore how Lisa’s own experiences of growing up in Northern Ireland amidst immense civil conflict inspired her to write the hit TV series, what its really like to work behind-the-scenes of a TV show, and how to bring 1990’s Northern Ireland to life on the small screen.
