What do you bring to the team?

A dynamic, can-do, finger-on-the-pulse approach. With a background in talent management (I previously worked for several years in the talent department at Curtis Brown), a key element of my role is nurturing key client and stakeholder relationships. Since joining in 2017, I have built Elizabeth Day’s live career (leading to a sold-out event at The London Palladium for her latest book), launched Ziauddin Yousafzai’s memoir, toured Nadiya Hussain across the UK, co-programmed the Authors on Stage series at the National Theatre and, more recently, worked on programming a diverse and exciting Fane Online series including events with Lisa Taddeo, Rumaan Alam, Anna Jones, Kiley Reid, Raven Leilani and Torrey Peters.

Your favourite book?

Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie / Howards End by EM Forster / Bonjour Tristesse by Françoise Sagan / The First Bad Man by Miranda July / The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy / The Woman Warrior by Maxine Hong Kingston / Heartburn by Norah Ephron / anything by Deborah Levy… Seemingly lots of books by women!

Where do you get your inspiration from?

Any and every kind of bookshop, visiting the theatre, spending too much time on Twitter, grilling my friends and family about what they are listening to/reading/watching – from their favourite TikToks to most-listened to podcast episodes.
